About Lauren
Lauren is a New York City based actress and singer. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Lauren earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory.
Lauren recently appeared in the original company of the First National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Weber's LOVE NEVER DIES, directed by Simon Phillips. She spent 2015 and 2016 on
the road with the First National Tour of R+H's CINDERELLA, where she understudied Marie, the fairy godmother. She understudied the role of Eliza Doolittle while on tour with MY FAIR LADY from 2011-2012.
Lauren has appeared regionally at North Shore Music Theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse, Gateway Playhouse and the John W. Engeman Theatre. While playing Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, it became the highest selling show in the theatre’s history.
Within a month of moving to New York, she originated the role of Marjory in the world premiere of Michael O'Flaherty's musical GENESIUS, THE MUSICAL. She has sung the new works of John Andrew Tarbet and Jonathan Matthew Gilbert at The York Theatre.
She currently resides in New York with her husband and their corgi, where she surprises her neighbors with delicious baked goods.
